of Phantasy Star 1 overworld themes, arranged and performed by Thea Landen.
This piece features Dezoris’s cold and somber tune, then adds the exotic
notes
of Motavia’s melody, ending on the cheerful, instantly recognizable
opening
chords of Palma’s song. As the artist herself says, the layers
“represent the eclipse that was so important to the native Dezorians.”
We think it
worked to perfect effect, easily making it one of our favorite fan
arrangements. Now, who’s ready to go exploring with Alis and
friends?
